  • When are you open?

    October to May, open Tuesday to Saturday. 

    June to September, open 7 days. 

  • What times are the distillery tours on?

    Tour times vary from day to day. Check the tours page on our website for times and availability or give us a call on 0238878020 

  • Is there parking on site?

    Yes. We have free parking next to the distillery.

    From the roundabout in front of the distillery, drive up the road along the side of the distillery building. Take the next right and our car park is off to the right.

  • How do I visit using public transport?

    The West Cork Connect bus, Cork – Skibbereen, stops outside the distillery both to and from Cork. 

    The Bus Éireann bus stops at O’Donovans Hotel heading west, and stops outside the distillery heading east towards Cork. 

  • I like whiskey and my partner likes gin, can we have different tastings at the end of the tour?

    Yes. Choose whatever ticket types you like for the same tour date and time. Everyone is together for the tour and tasting, it’s only the samples that change. 

  • Do you have a cafe or restaurant?

    There is no cafe at the distillery but you have a choice of several great cafes and pubs within a 5 minute walk. 

    We don’t have a restaurant, however Kirby’s @ The Whale’s Tail is right next door and there are a number of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. 

  • Can children visit the distillery?

    Kids are welcome on the distillery tour when they are accompanied by an adult over 18. Tickets must be booked for children. 

    Kids are not allowed on the Gin School. 

  • I just want to visit the shop, is that okay?

    Yes! The team will be delighted to help you choose a whiskey or just chat about what we do. In-store tasting flights are available, these are on a first come first served basis and subject to availability.

  • Is the distillery wheelchair accessible?

    Yes. There are lifts and ramps in both the visitor experience and distillery buildings.  

  • Does the Gin School only take place on Saturday nights?

    The public Gin School normally runs on the third Saturday evening of each month. Please use the online booking system to check dates and availability. 

    For groups of 8 – 12 please contact us via the Groups page to enquire about a private Gin School on a day and time to suit you. 

  • Does the online shop deliver to Great Britain?

    No. Due to high charges, post Brexit, we do not ship to GB. Check out retailers based in the UK for our products. We can ship in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and to EU countries. 

  • Do you ship to the USA?

    For delivery to the USA please visit our USA based online store. We do not ship direct to USA customers from Ireland.
